bar at the top of the screen.

Click on the hyperlink in the categories list.

STEP 4

The “PACER Login” screen will now display unless you
previously logged in using your PACER login and password or unless you are an
attorney who does not use the “Client code:” field and you have defaulted
your PACER login to be linked to your CM/ECF login. The client code field is mainly for creditor attorney’s use to
facilitate billing the client for expenses.
Enter your PACER login and password and a client code, if
desired.
Then, click the button.

The following parameters are available to produce the
“Calendar - Daily” report.
Make your choices following the guidelines set out below.

LIMITING THE
REPORT
|
|
The report is limited to one day’s worth of information,
but you can change the default from today’s date to a different date.
NOTE: Enter
dates as mm/dd/yy or mm/dd/yyyy.
You can also limit the report to either “Deadlines” or “Hearings”
or you can leave the default. The
default will gather information on all deadlines and hearings for the date
you choose.

NOTE:
Appointment information is not actually available at this time.

LIMITING BY
HEARING LOCATION
|
|
The default is to gather all hearing and deadline
information for all locations. You
may limit the report to hearings and deadlines for one particular hearing
location if you so desire. The
choices currently available are shown below.

SORTING
|
|
After you have made your choices as to what data the
report will gather, you can then have that data sorted (up to two levels) by
judge or by location using the choices shown below.

As an example, you could have the data sorted by judge
first. Then, you could have each
judge’s data sorted by location of the hearing.

|
CLEAR OPTION
|
|
You can click the button to return the screen to the normal defaults if you change
your mind about any of the choices you have made.

After making your choices, click the button.
|

– DAILY REPORT

A standard calendar - daily similar to the calendar shown
below will display.

NOTE: That
the daily calendar shows both deadline and hearing information if the default
parameter is used.
NOTE:
Clicking on the blue-underlined text will allow you to print a docket
report for the case.
NOTE:
Clicking on the blue-underlined document number(s) will display the
.pdf image of the pleading and supporting documentation (up to 50 pages), but
will launch Adobe Acrobat Reader within the CM/ECF screen. See warning message below.

IMPORTANT
WARNING RE VIEWING .PDF
DOCU- MENTS
|
|
When you click on a document or claim number while in
CM/ECF, you will be able to view the document or claim, but the Adobe Acrobat
Reader software will not be separately launched in the process. Your screen will look similar to the
screen below.

Note that the title bar at the top is still showing the
“Kentucky Eastern Train Database – Netscape” program.
 
In addition, note that the main CM/ECF blue menu bar still
shows.
You will need to use your browser’s button to go back to the screen you were previously viewing.
If you try to close the .pdf document by clicking on the button, you will actually throw yourself out of the CM/ECF
system.

PRINTING OR
SAVING THE REPORT
|
|
Click on your browser’s printer icon to
print the “Calendar – Daily” report.
To save a copy of the “Calendar –
Daily” report, click “File” in your browser’s menu bar.

Then select “Save As”,
“Save Frame As”, or “Save Target As” and save to the drive you wish to
on your computer.
