GENERAL

INFO.

There is no new or additional filing fee required for filing a document electronically.   However, the same documents that have required the payment of a filing fee in the past still require the payment of the same fee.

Since the court has upgraded through Version 2.2 of the CM/ECF software, you may now pay filing fees by credit card via the Internet.

STEP 1

At some point during the filing of a document that requires the payment of a filing fee, a receipt screen similar (the fee amounts will vary) to the one below will display.

Simply click the  button, if you will be paying the filing fee using a credit card via the internet.

NOTE RE: PAYING FEES BY METHODS OTHER THAN THE INTERNET

Type “ck” in the receipt number box shown above, then, click the  button, if you are paying by check, money order or cash instead of credit card.

If you are paying by check, money order or cash, the payment needs to be received by the court within 24 hours of the filing.
