GENERAL

INFO.

Shortcuts, bookmarks, and favorites are computer terms for methods to shorten the number of steps it takes to do something.  In other words, they can increase your productivity and take some of the hassle and stress out of your life.  That’s better than any drug and you don’t have to get your HMO’s approval, so, who wouldn’t want to use them??

DON’T

DO IT

DON’T DO IT !!

Always enter the “live” CM/ECF database through the court’s website home page.  This way, you won’t miss important announcements about the System that may affect your filing.  For example, in the screen shot below, information is given about the new release (Version 2.2) and the resultant changes and about dates and times that CM/ECF will be down.

If you go directly to the CM/ECF login page, you may not find out the above information.

This information is kept as current as possible.  For example, within 24 hours of going live on Version 2.2, we had resolved the problem with uploading Chapter 13 plans, so the information above, about filing the Chapter 13 plan separately, was immediately removed.
