Starting in October 2025, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky (KYEB) will begin accepting online payments through Pay.gov for parties who previously were required to submit payments by mail or in person at the Clerk’s Office Intake counter.
Payments can be made via debit card or ACH (electronic transfer from a bank account). Installment payments must comply with KYEB LBR 1006-1. This online payment option may also be used for fees associated with searches, copies of documents, certifications, hearing recordings, and other miscellaneous charges.
NOTE: Registered CM/ECF users must continue to pay filing fees directly through CM/ECF when submitting documents.
We encourage you to share this online payment option with your clients to simplify their payment process and avoid the need for in-person or mailed submissions.
